Another notification, 

Another message from you,

Meanwhile I’m sat here

however many miles away 

and I don’t know what to do,

I could reply,

But in a way that would make me the bad guy,

For leading you on,

Making you think that something

could come of this,

Well that would be wrong,

So instead,

I’ll leave you on read,

And slowly fade away,

And in a few days/weeks,

I’ll long to say everything I 

wish I could,

And everything I know I should,

But you’ll soon forget about me,

That’s the way it has to be,

I promise it’s not about you,

It’s just the way I am,

It’s what I always do
